Wildflowers from my small, artisanal wildflower nursery in Exeter are grown in small batches from seed and cuttings and are suitable for small to medium garden spaces.

Plants are selected for their wildlife benefit and trialed in Lou’s Wild Garden in Exeter.

All plants are grown and supplied in peat-free compost (organic where possible) and grown without any pesticides. Packaging is recycled and/or recycled and biodegradable.

·         Selections of wildflower plug plants are available between May and October.

·         Foxglove and sweet rocket available as 9cm potted plants in September 2024

·         Primroses and cowslips available as 9cm potted plants from September 2025

Wildflowers from Lou’s Wild Garden have been selected for suitability for urban and cottage garden-style spaces.

Did you know that birdsfoot trefoil is drought tolerant and suitable for a container as well as being the food plant of the common blue butterfly and six-spot burnet moth?

That a pack of five plug plants including musk mallow and ox-eye daisy are an achievable way to make a mini meadow effect? Or that shade-tolerant wildflowers like red campion are just as happy at the back of a border as they are in a hedgerow?

You can enjoy the cowslips and primroses you read about or saw as a child in your own garden – and keep an eye out for the fairies!
